THE PROCESS:

STEP 1 - PRE-PROJECT CONSULTATION & DESIGN

A sales representative will first determine the client's requirements by conducting a formal needs analysis on how the room will be used once it is completed. Extensive review of current technology including pros/cons, yearly maintenance cost, life expectancy and budgetary proposal will be presented. Following the analysis is the initial design phase. We will present to the client technology and equipment solutions that would best fulfill the facility's requirements. Flow diagrams, a scope of work and a first draft proposal will be provided to the client.

STEP 2 - PROJECT PLANNING & DOCUMENTATION

Applied Electronics will complete CAD drawings as well as detailed layouts of the audio/video system. Other documents that will be provided include a general floor plan showing site lines, cones and optimal viewing distances, vertical room section, screen wall vertical elevation, suggested lighting detail, electrical and mechanical requirements (power & heat loads based on projection proposed solution), conduit and junction box schedule, and coordination to optimize human factors pertaining to wall, floor and window finishes . Once everything is agreed upon and approved by the client, a detailed cost analysis will be supplied.

STEP 3 - FABRICATION & INSTALLATION

Applied Electronics will order any necessary equipment that is not already in stock and set up a timeline for project completion. Each piece of equipment will be programmed and tested alone as well as together with other components to ensure functionality by an experienced technical staff expert. Every member of Applied Electronics’ team will work together with the electricians to make sure cable-runs are installed correctly and power requirements are met.

STEP 4 - ONGOING MAINTENANCE & CUSTOMER SUPPORT

After the installation is completed, Applied Electronics will provide a complete documentation package which includes as-built drawings, user manuals and manufacturer documentation. Training is then provided to key personnel to ensure that the system is used to its fullest capabilities. Applied Electronics offers a variety of annual preventative maintenance agreements that assist with keeping the system optimized for years to come.
