WABE 2014

Look for Applied Electronics booths 303, 317 and 402 at the 2014 Western Association of Broadcast Engineer’s (WABE) Convention to be held in Edmonton, Alberta at the Shaw Convention Centre from October 26th to 29th.

The WABE convention gives suppliers, vendors and manufacturers a dynamic showcase to exhibit their latest and greatest products, while also providing an outstanding educational opportunity for the technicians, engineers and managers in Western Canada.  Our Broadcast Systems Manager, Peter Gillespie, will be participating in a Sunday Paper’s session on the Alberta Floods of 2013.  Come and learn what devastation the floods wreaked on broadcasters and how they recovered from the devastation!  Peter will also be presenting a WABE Educational update in the Tuesday Breakfast session.

We invite you to join us on the exhibition floor, where Applied Electronics will be exhibiting the following emergent technologies:

• AJA and the 4K Chain | Take 2
4K is now a reality!  It is in use and is much more affordable than you would imagine!  Come and see our technology demo which utilizes an AJA 4K camera, AJA Corvid and interconnect gear for panning, scanning and recording the image, and a Sharp 4K monitor for displaying the image!  Yes, the new AJA Cion camera will be unveiled to our Western Audience at WABE!  This camera is setting new standards for quality and value, so come and see it in action!
