Dave McGinn Retires After 43 Years in the News and Broadcast Media Industry
Mississauga, Ontario, June 23, 2017 – Dave’s 30-year professional career in television news included 7- and 14-year stints at CJOH Ottawa and two years at CKWS Kingston. He was a Station Manager at APTN and oversaw the studio build at their new Winnipeg Broadcast Centre in 2000.
Dave joined Applied Electronics in 2002 as a Sales Consultant specializing in News products, In 2004, he accepted a full time role on the sales team as a Broadcast Sales Representative to manage key accounts and help grow sales in Ontario, Manitoba and the Maritime provinces.
"Dave's contributions to the company's growth over the last two decades has been significant," says Paul Stechly, President of Applied Electronics. "He was one of our strongest salesmen specializing in news and mobile broadcast productions, as well as an integral member of the Applied Electronics family.
